[ Design from Scandinavia ]

Last week I spend some time in Copenhagen, Malmo & Stockholm, apart from visiting amazing friends, eating super nice pure food, I did some Scandinavian design shopping ^_^

In Copenhagen we first visited Illums Bolighus, here I found my first addition to our kitchen: Rig-Tig measuring cups. Rig-tig is part of the Stelton brand.

We couldn’t leave Copenhagen without visiting the brandstores of Hay, where we bought our new ORI pepper grinder. In the Hay store you tend to get very greedy since it feels like your in a design paradise. I think the strength of Hay is that they redesign products that we normally take for granted but we use everyday in our home.

The tea canister we bought at A.C. Perchs tearoom, we couldn’t resist to buy this beautiful coloured can & of course we had to store our newly bought tea.

In Malmo we decided to visit Granit, it feels like a urban Muji store. Here you can just find every pot, pan or item you need for your home. We bought our lovely enamel mugs there & some nice jars. Next week I will use these lovely jars for the jam I am making from apricots that grow in my parents garden.

Last but not least I bought this amazing vintage enamel teapot in Stockholm at a secondhand store. I fell in love with the design, material & feel of the teapot at first sight. It only cost me around €4, lucky me. I can’t wait to use it on a camping trip or during an outdoor picknick.

More updates on my travels to scandinavia in the coming weeks.
